Profile bio

About Stephanie Levy

I am currently a junior majoring in Public Policy Analysis and Economic Consulting at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. I have aspired to my major with my driving interest in political advocacy and social justice in mind. Throughout high school, I became very passionate about law and policy and its effect on individuals. I have lobbied on behalf of two bills to congressional offices. Specifically bills regarding solving gun purchasing loopholes (H.R.8) and mental health funding for public schools (HR1109).Currently, at Indiana University, I work closely with Kelley Student Government continuing to further my passion for the intersection of business and governmental policy. Throughout my time with Kelley Student Government I have worked on many projects. Most notably building an organization-wide database to increase networking capabilities among members. Last administration, I served as the Chairperson for the Kelley Office of Diversity Initiatives. In this role, I established a council to represent diverse student populations and drive more minority involvement in the actions and decisions of Kelley Student Government. My past experiences and current roles have provided me with leadership, advocacy, and communication skills. Through my education and leadership opportunities at the Kelley School of Business, I hope to develop the professional skills to allow me to lead my professional career with justice and change as my driving force in the business world.
