When I was ~13 I decided I wanted to be a graphic designer. Why? Because my English teacher assigned me to write a newspaper article...but I wanted it to *look* like a newspaper article too. Hours later in Microsoft Word, I decided, "Hey, that was fun," and Googled "Who designs newspaper articles for a living?"Needless to say, the world of graphic design was bigger than I knew at that point. But as I went on to study it in college, the more I learned the more I knew I wanted to pursue it. From in-house designer, to a designer in a brand agency, to a Branding Director, to a freelancer, to a small business owner, my career has taken a lot of twists and turns. What it's taught me is how to understand business and design from a variety of perspectives. Now, I guide brands and business owners along their journey and help them navigate the (often overwhelming) world of design and digital marketing. I design with a strategy-first mindset, bringing confidence and clarity through business-minded rationale and growth-oriented perspective. Ready to take your brand to the next level?
