As an associate lawyer and accredited mediator at M.G. Michaels & Associates, and a contract family mediator at Bridging Family Conflicts, I have full carriage of family law, estate, and mediation files, from initial intake to trial preparation. I also assist clients in creating estate plans, or in the administration of a loved one's estate after their passing. I remain focused and committed to finding unique resolutions for my clients as efficiently and equitably as possible, however, I can also be a zealous advocate in the courtroom when required.I have drafted and negotiated resolutions for complex family law matters, and am confident in providing legal advice, advocating for my clients, legal research and drafting, in both the family law and mediation setting.I received by Juris Doctor from Western University in London, Ontario, and a B.A. Honours in Psychology and History from the University of Guelph. I am also accredited as a family mediator by OAFM. I have trained and mentored junior counsel on research, drafting, court appearances and client management.
