Began this boutique from scratch. From logo, branding, marketing, buying, merchandising, community involvement, displays, interior design, apparel collection design, to human resources, accounts payable and receivable, working with interns, and providing excellent customer service, it evolved and expanded from a tiny corner of a shared space to a large corner location in a busy historic downtown. A clean, fashion-forward, stylish environment provided for customers as well as top-notch customer service. Going out of our way to satisfy customer needs and wants. We closed our physical location December 31, 2013 to pursue another love ~ floral design. Red Berry is now a floral design studio with very exclusive availability offering the same service, creativity and excellence.

This company emerged from Heels In The Rain Social Media Marketing. There was such a great need for graphic design and branding via our social media clients that a facet was created specializing in just that. This includes logos and branding, business cards, pamphlets, flyers, letterhead, etc. Offering social media make-overs (cover photos, profile pics, app graphics and links, photo/graphic posts, twitter and Youtube backgrounds and images, etc) to include one or all of these choices. Love to work with/train new clients on how to best utilize their social media. After gathering all of their wants and goals and strategizing with them to create a plan that is not overwhelming and that can be easily handled in-house is the mission. Portland, Oregon Area

Worked with two partners to brand, build, market, and create this social media (graphic heavy) company. Created custom Facebook covers, Twitter and Youtube backgrounds, Facebook app/tabs with links and graphics, wordpress websites, newsletters, Facebook and Youtube ads, increased fan base and engagement, managed client pages as well as provided training, held social media classes, and even provided live graphics and posting for Rutgers University football 2012. In 2012 provided social media film footage to Columbia University for their business classes.

Began as the assistant manager, and then in March of 2000 was promoted to the store manager. Was in charge of merchandising, scheduling, payroll, customer service, sales transactions, loss-prevention and control, inventory, special orders, hiring, reviews, office supply purchasing, bank deposits, district meetings, conference calls, receiving, mark-to-zero. This was a first experience in retail and upon arrival realized some things were not running efficiently, so upon inquiring, found the proper avenues and guidelines and implemented an inventory process and employee training, resulting in more efficiency and a better working environment for my co-workers.
