My role evolved from heading up the initial Club Penguin roll-out in the UK to overseeing its localisation into French and esablishing the German team, ensuring an in-house infrastructure to roll out other Disney virtual worlds across Europe. The team included player support, marketing and translation teams.

During this time, I worked on several projects including a parenting digital strategy, cross-platform pitches for children's television and online pitches for RDF.

• the management of the BBC’s Pre-school Interactive Services: under my management CBeebies became one of the most popular interactive services on BBCi and BBC online. I managed the growth of the BBC’s pre-school online.
• all aspects of management of the 8-strong CBeebies Interactive team, from: recruiting, overseeing career and personal development and resource allocation.
• CBeebies budgetary management, from pitching for budgets and budget forecasting to allocation and overseeing.
• relationship management across a disparate group of stakeholders, including: in-house and external TV production teams, Acquisitions, On-air, Schedules and Marketing.
• CBeebies content strategy across all interactive platforms.

Petspark was a dotcom pets site, that included editorial content, UGC and retailing.I was the 4th hire in this team, recruited to set up the editorial strategy and oversee game production and character creation.

Recruited to start up and edit an education magazine for pre-schoolers, 'The 3Rs'. At this company I also set up the 'Budgie the Little Helicopter' and 'A World of Romance' magazines, as well as editing 'A World of Painting'.
