Responsibilities included:- Assisting in the creation and development of innovative and cutting edge unscripted series and documentaries for major broadcast and cable networks.- Providing direct support to the US Vice President of Development, as well as the CEO of Firecracker Films- Closely monitoring pop culture and headline news to identify areas and characters that would do well developed into formats and series, then contacting the appropriate people to secure access- Meeting with potential talent and/or independent producers to cohesively package formats with the best potential to sell to networks- Researching, Casting and branding potential talent- Writing and editing pitch materials, as well as working closely with our in-house graphics designer-Overseeing the continual development of all US programs and managing the Development slate to streamline productivity- Assisting directors on set for various sizzles, pilots and presentations- Occasional Story Producing, Story Editing and Associate Producing in-field- Traveling for casting, sizzle productions, and to secure access to story rights for documentaries- Contributing 3 new ideas weekly
