Worked directly under the Vice President of Development in creating and packaging the company's latest shows to sell to the networks. We were responsible for taking ideas all the way from conception to completion (in the form of a fully fleshed out sales deck or pilot/presentation). Day to day tasks included:- Assisting the V.P. and working alongside the CEOs to create innovative formats and unscripted programming for networks like NBC, SyFy, Spike, Fox and more- Assisting in the creation and editorial of all sizzles and pitch materials- Identifying, contacting and interviewing potential talent- Crafting shows around identified characters/worlds, or talent brought to us through agencies- Closely monitoring and researching pop culture trends and headline news, topics, and areas of interest for further development projects.- Tracking and managing the development slate and all its various deadlines - Casting Voice Over actors for our sizzles- Enthusiastically participating in weekly brainstorms, where we each brought 3 new ideas
