-Run and instruct Explorers Internship Program (as of Spring 2022), creating internships and coaching students on workplace success strategies/leadership tools. 97% of students reported that as a result of the course, they were better prepared to achieve their career goals. Doubled the program in Spring 2024, and train/lead a team in running all operations of the expanded program.-Cultivate and maintain relationships with project and internship partners, scoping over 200 experiential learning opportunities for students in three Center academic programs.-Mastered SalesForce and Pardot, and created data structures to inform center operations and track growth/impact.-Collaborated with Managing Director and Business Career Services to create the Explorers Internship Program in Summer 2021, filling a need for opening career doors for younger students.

-Identify key gaps in existing resources, and coordinate with team to make policies more equitable, reduce barriers to student career success, increase student satisfaction with office by 4.5%, and drive positive graduate career outcomes at or above national average.-Set annual department objectives, sequence activities, and track progress to successfully achieve all goals.-Collaborate with Provost and Board of Trustees to identify opportunities, and use knowledge of departmental standards and external parameters to drive strategic projects.-Collect and analyze data to anticipate student needs and provide data-informed suggestions to administration.-Through creating relationships with faculty and staff stakeholders, manage and assess the college’s multi-year Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), focused on student career success.-Create curriculum for required career success course; develop and teach first online version of the course for adult learners, gaining average student course rating of 5.8/6.

-Coached students and alumnae of diverse backgrounds, ages, and majors on career success strategies.-With no explicit directives, collaborated with supervisor to develop structure and processes for new large-scale experiential learning initiative; wrote handbooks for students and faculty, developed options outside of traditional internships to expand student access, and adjusted systems.-Mastered new career management software, led office’s adoption and training process, and implemented procedures to ensure data hygiene.-Managed all aspects of internship program approval and registration processes, and improved workflow efficiency.-On strategic planning committee, collaborated with Provost & campus partners on ways to embed core competencies and career development into college experience, advocating for a career competency plan that was ultimately adopted.

-Managed all operations of a 300-resident building, including resolving crises according to campus policies, managing facilities issues, and ensuring student staff followed procedures accurately.-Utilized software to maintain housing records, track facilities issues, and ensure residents were informed of all helpdesk ticket statuses; monitored staff usage of software for accuracy.-Supervised and developed teams of 8-10 student staff, facilitating educational, social justice, and leadership training based on group needs, and providing feedback to motivate team to perform at high levels.-Career Center Project (Dec 2016-June 2017): Identified a need to increase student awareness of career center resources, and leveraged campus relationships to execute programs. Developed and taught career exploration workshops, coordinated employer recruiting events, and collaborated with faculty.-Student Staff Training Project (July 2016-Jan 2017): Coordinated & evaluated comprehensive in-person and virtual trainings for 65 staff throughout the year, managing a budget of $24,000.-Summer Camps & Conferences Collateral Project (May-Aug 2016): Partnered across divisions to facilitate camp operations, oversee the residential aspects of summer conferences, and improve process efficiency.-Themed Learning Community Development Project (July 2014-July 2016): Developed 3 themed learning communities involving 100+ students, managing the project by identifying learning goals, creating comprehensive educational program models, and building partnerships with multiple stakeholders.

-Led 3-week trip with 14-student group, facilitating learning and understanding about tribal communities and underserved communities.

-In absence of supervisor, coordinated most projects out of the Office of Student Involvement, including executing events drawing 15-250 people, improving department processes, and building relationships.-Coached a 13-student team on event planning and project management strategies, advising them as they executed weekly large-scale events using a $42,000 operating budget.-As chair of a 6-person Recruitment Committee, coordinated the 3-month project designed to equitably and accurately recruit and assess student staff candidates.-Supervised 8 RAs, oversaw facilities operations, and promoted positive community development in residential halls.

-Developed emergency response plan for Bluffton University study abroad experiences by compiling crisis management best practices.

-Collaborated with co-leader to develop student leadership workshops, facilitate team development, and engage participants in educational sessions.

-Planned and led comprehensive training for 10 student orientation leaders, incorporating student development knowledge into teambuilding activities, leadership workshops, and resource manual.

-Created welcoming environment, provided complete information about food and wine, and communicated with other staff about how to improve service.
