I am working as the Academic Achievement Chairman for my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. For this role, I am given the opportunity to monitor the grades of the women in my chapter as well as encourage them to do their best academically.

Working at Starbucks has taught me the value of customer connections and how important they are to improve a business. After proving my abilities during training, I was able to quickly move to working during rush hours because of my capabilities to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

As a marketing and social media intern for WayPoint Systems, Inc., I have learned tangible tasks in the world of marketing a company. I was able to update all social media platforms and acquire updated photos and videos of past and current projects. During my time at WayPoint, I was able to update files and administrative departments.

I was a babysitter/nanny for a specific family since the age of fourteen. Because I did more tasks than were asked of me, I was able to acquire multiple other nannying positions through word of mouth of my “boss.” This allowed me to learn money saving skills from a young age and how to market myself as a business.

I was the first high school intern at Waumba Land to work just for large group. Because they saw my abilities during the school year, I was then promoted to a payed full-time position in the summer. This experience taught me how to work on a team and offer new ideas to improve the workplace.

During my time at Taylor Brooks, I learned the value of remembering clients and valuing their time while they are at my business. I worked as an assistant stylist and was able to do all tasks that were necessary to keep the business running day to day.

I worked as a barista and front of house employee at Farmhouse. I was the first fifteen-year-old that they had ever hired and because of my customer service abilities I was chosen to market the company at farmer’s markets in the Alpharetta area. I was also given the opportunity to have a say in which high schoolers were hired during my time there since they trusted my opinions.
