In my over 20 years of practice, I have had a wide array of experience in multiple practice areas, specifically including Toxic and Mass Torts, Products Liability, Tort and Personal Injury, Railroad Litigation, and Appellate Advocacy, having argued cases before both the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. In my experience in toxic and mass tort litigation in both state and federal courts, I been heavily involved in the defense of a wide variety of product manufacturers in asbestos litigation in particular, including manufacturers of pumps, valves, compressors, steam traps, abrasive materials handling systems, automotive gaskets, friction products, refractory material, electrical wiring and cable, circuit breakers, arc chutes, welding products and protective clothing. My toxic and mass tort experience has further extended beyond asbestos-containing products, however, to cases involving exposure to chlorine gas, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, diesel fumes, mixed dusts, alumina oxide, and acrylonitrile. My products liability practice has also encompassed a wide range of products, from pharmaceuticals and latex gloves to recreational vehicles, automotive products, and industrial equipment. Outside of work, Stephanie is an adventure-seeker, passionate about travel and new experiences. She enjoys scuba diving, skydiving, and has successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
