2020 is a year of new beginnings for me. Commencing my Bachelor of Nursing with La Trobe University, moving back to Shepparton having been living in Mansfield for the past 2 years and beginning my Shepparton Villages chapter in August. All have been challenging to obtain in these times but have been all the sweeter having accomplished. Now I am hungry for what my future may hold.Past employers and colleagues have often described me as a bright and happy person that works efficiently and thoughtfully. I am the kind of person to put my hand up to volunteer and can roll with the punches. I have a passion for all things caring and nursing.I am due to graduate with a Bachelor of Nursing in late 2022. From there I am keen to explore where Nursing may take me geographically and also in regards to discipline. Although I have a deep rooted passion for aged care I am excited to dip my toes into other areas of Nursing once qualified. At this point I am keen to splash around in the peri-operative care sector. But who knows what opportunities present themselves.Experience in Aged Care:- Over 5 years of caring so far.- 4 years of medication endorsement practice. - Shift team leading.- Well practiced in ACFI documentation and assessment.- Organising and facilitating activities and entertainment within aged facilities.
