Colleagues describe her as "Stephanie worked with us at Nile Point as a user experience researcher during the initial business analysis phase on behalf of the non-profit - Food for the Hungry - who work in remote areas of developing countries. As part of this effort, she traveled with me to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in May 2016 to participate in FH's Monitoring and Evaluation workshop where staff members from 20 countries convened to discuss their needs and pain points related to remote data collection. Stephanie provided a road map to gather user stories during this brief period to ensure that the organization understood their current challenges in the field and create profiles of field promoters working with vulnerable households. Foremost, she helped us identify the need for an easy to use, offline mobile solution that could be used on an Android tablet or smartphone. With this information, we drafted a business analysis to capture key findings from this workshop. Our firm was subsequently selected by FH to develop an Android mobile solution and data exchange that uses a delay tolerant network to collect and relay data asynchronously. As I write this, a team is in remote rural areas of Ethiopia testing the alpha version of the mobile app and data exchange.
