• Maintained data and generated reports in an electronic/technological environment using software, such as TIPS and MS Excel, to maintain files, records, correspondence, and case tracking. • Liaised with other HR staff contacts, managers, other departments, central agencies, candidates, and employees to solicit or provide information on HR processes and procedures. • Used electronic systems, such as the Public Service Resourcing System (PSRS) and the Priority Information Management System (PIMS), to complete staffing tasks, such as posting job advertisements and obtaining priority clearance numbers (PCNs). • Undertook various administrative tasks, such as receiving, sorting, filing, reviewing, processing, and responding to correspondence. • Worked on special projects, involving heavy usage of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Special projects included summarizing data from an employee survey onto radar charts, in which the charts are now used on regional and national presentations within Transport Canada, as well as summarizing Student Surveys onto a placemat presented to the Deputy Minister of Transport Canada.• Prepared and presented a 20 minute HR on-boarding presentation to new students.
