Provide ongoing professional and emotional support to bilingual Spanish teacher candidates enrolled in the Stanford Teacher Education Program (STEP) as they navigate the intersection of theory and practice.

Formed deep ties with students, their families, and the surrounding community. Observed, listened, innovated, collaborated to thoughtfully design the kinds of school experiences that all kids and families deserve. Served as a Mentor Teacher with both Stanford’s STEP Program and Alder Graduate School of Education. Provided weekly support, observation, and feedback to new teachers as an Induction Coach. Served as Lead Teacher for grades 4-6. Duties included facilitating weekly data reflection meetings, planning and leading school-wide professional development, fostering a team dynamic of innovation and collaboration.

I taught all subjects in Spanish and English to a class of English Language Learners at Bachrodt Charter Academy.

Selected from over 35,000 applicants nationwide to join a corps of teachers dedicated to serving children in under-resourced public schools.

I taught English Language Arts to third, fourth, and fifth graders. I also taught reading intervention for students who were identified as needing extra support.
