As a marketing professional with experience developing, designing, producing, and executing multi-platform content within multiple industries, I am confident that I am a strong asset to a marketing / creative team.I previously served as the lead marketing professional for the Division of Student Affairs at SMU where I developed and executed the internal standards and creative production processes to elevate the division’s brand. In this role, I was responsible for designing compelling visual content for multiple communication channels. I also was responsible for training and managing student and part-time designers who supported the creation of creative content. This initiative also served as an in-house direct learning opportunity for students seeking creative and design degrees - a program which I created and developed to stretch internal bandwidth to meet creative demand.I currently serve as the Director of Marketing and Graphic Design for Flea Style, a local retail and hat company, where I’ve honed my skills in content and e-commerce strategy, as well as email marketing and working with external partners to achieve shared marketing goals through collaborative campaigns. Additionally, I’ve been able to flex my creative muscle in creating original and enjoyable copy for social media, email newsletters, and website that is true to the voice of the brand.I have extensive professional experience in project management and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders throughout my tenure in higher education and at Flea Style, and I currently have over nine years of experience in graphic design and content management.
