CodeGem is a management intelligence platform built to optimize software development teams. By integrating with the tools development teams use to collaborate, CodeGem automatically captures the full spectrum of an engineer's contributions, from productivity to collaboration to engagement.

• Designed, architected and built out several internal Go Services including; AlterFilter: a service that enables custom filtration of alerts moving through the detection pipeline, and Producer/Consumer Generator: a service that, given a list of schema topics, automatically scaffolds Kafka consumers and producers (Go, FX, Kafka, M3, & Hive)• Created AvroSchemaGen; a Go based generator embedded in the open source ECSGen tool used to convert ECS yamls to Avro defined schemas• Took over planning of large scale translation service, including creation of comprehensive engineering requirement documents that outlines requirements, technical alternatives/decision, system diagrams, etc.

• Derived requirements and defined specs to extract essential legacy functionality into a modern microservice model that vastly improves application security administration while reducing overhead resource costs • Independently designed and implemented full-stack application with backend built in Node.js, Swagger, Redis, MySQL, Knex.js, and LDAP.js, and frontend dashboard built with React paired with Redux• Presented problem statement, solution, and demo of application to increasingly senior audiences culminating in selection for presentation to VP of Product Integrity• Wrote python script to scan zips for malicious content by extracting and searching nested zip, pkg, and dmg files

• Responsible for database architecture optimization, design, and implementation using Knex.js in PostgreSQL for multiple large-scale features• REST endpoint planning, definition, and execution with complex queries and logic flows in Node.js• Designed process for centralizing communication between UX, FE, and BE teams using Postman and GitHub; lead successful execution resulting in cleaner feature implementation• Lead planning and executed implementation of tracking on Node and Go API using Kafka• Created event handlers to listen to smart contract events in Go• Set-up testing on the Node API using Mocha and SuperTest; establishing the initial test file schemas• Organized company-wide engineering event independently

• Designed a Machine Learning powered mortgage calculator and build out a prototype using Python, Flask, and Angular5• Compiled data sources, cleaned data using OpenRefine, and built models leveraging Python, Scikit Learn, Pandas, and Numpy with clustering algorithms such as K-Means• Worked with a big data aggregation application written by the previous cohort to debug essential functionalities such as data storage across JWT and ES Database• In a close-knit agile team, met with senior executives iteratively to drive out requirements through demos of both technical and conceptual design

• Backend development of a share payment blockchain application on Nuco using MongoDB, Java, and Spring• Designed and implemented “Smart Wallet,” Smart Contracts using Solidity• Constructed empathy maps, user journeys, and wireframes using AdobeXD to generate user stories• Worked in an agile environment to effectively meet challenging deadlines and demo technical subjects to stakeholders such as the pros of moving from the Web3 API to Ethereum’s Java API
