Ensure Delta hubs and key markets in the Southeast remain favorable to the company’s business needs. Maintain competitive operational cost structures by building strong relationships with political and community leaders, including state legislatures and executive branches. Formulate and execute extensive legislative strategies and draft all necessary collateral materials, including talking points, issue papers and presentations. Communicate frequently with other business units to identify issues that might be remedied through government channels. Hire and manage lobbyists and other political consultants in the Southeast.
