Experienced veterinarian with 14 years of practice with small, large and exotic species. Over 20 years in the veterinary industry - from kennel technician to senior research biologist. Excels at client communication, especially making advanced medical terminology approachable to the layman. Graduated Cum Laude under a Mixed Animal Track from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine with special certifications in International Veterinary Medicine and Aquatic Animal Medicine. Has experience with most species from small animals including pocket pets, birds, reptiles; marine species including fish, rays/sharks, sea turtles, and marine mammals, to large mammals including horses & other food/fiber animals, giraffe, rhinos, antelope, big cats, etc. Practiced emergency medicine for two years at a specialty referral hospital in Chattanooga.
