• Key member of team responsible for developing and executing corporate strategy for Amplify, News Corp’s education startup. Report directly to the CFO and Head of Business Development. • Construct business proposals for new products which include analysis of market opportunity, competitors, product development and go-to-market strategy • Project and analyze future performance of products under development with product, marketing and sales teams by building dynamic operating models• Lead diligence for acquisitions and partnerships which includes determining valuation, developing internal projections, evaluating alternatives and identifying key diligence risks• Craft investor relations responses, MD&A, annual presentation to the board, and numerous internal financial reports• Perform annual and quarterly forecasting by examining current performance, product strategy and go-to-market plans in conjunction with division management and FP&A team

• Provided M&A, leveraged finance and equity capital markets services to private equity firms• Performed extensive valuation analysis using various methodologies (leveraged buyout, discounted cash flow, trading and transaction comps, sum-of-the-parts, accretion/dilution, ratings debt capacity)• Constructed dynamic LBO model to determine value of the business, analyze performance and liquidity and deduce optimal leverage• Drafted bridge lender deck, RAP, loan and bond offering documentation
