I am a newly certified Scrum Master seeking to pivot to a role whereby I may assist organizations in Agile methodologies, and develop happy, productive, cross-functional teams. My 20+ years of people-focused, and project-minded career experience illustrates how I may improve Scrum and Agile within your organization by valuing people over processes and tools. I aim to leverage the Scrum Framework and Agile mindset along with listening, empathy, and servant leadership. In addition to the professional depth I bring to the table, I have served both in leadership and as a contributor on a volunteer basis for numerous organizations, and through countless hours of service in my community of faith. Through these experiences I have learned that the value of an organization lies in its people; and being able to engage, inspire, and empower people results in miraculous things.I have raised a family both as a stay-at-home and a single mom, while maintaining a well-run and loving home. I look now to pivot the skills which I have mastered as Advocate, Counselor, Organizer, Time Manager, and Money Manager, among innumerable others, to a professional environment. I hope to align myself with an organization which can recognize the value of soft skills and wisdom gained through life experience.I regularly advocate for a global community--celebrating diversity by supporting rights for Immigrants, the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, children, animals, inmates, and other marginalized groups.
