Responsible for medical triage of members using established protocols, note taking via online ANS (Advice Note System) and providing specified diagnostic results to members. Responsible to collaborate with on-site physicians, on-call physicians, HCT, pharmacists, and/or Nurse Practitioner as necessary to facilitate member care.Essential Functions:• Receives and processes telephone calls from Health Plan members requiring medical advice or general information by: Assesses the patient's problem utilizing established protocols and interaction with provider on-site or on-call; makes appropriate recommendations to include advice, appointments per protocol, or direction from physician; appropriately documents calls received with adherence to inter-regional documentation; acts as an extension of the health care team to meet member needs.• Assists members in empathetic, efficient manner to determine best course of action to resolve issue. • Meets regional standards set by call center management to achieve optimal member satisfactionsuch as phone access and service standards. Be receptive to constructive feedback by supervisors and/or QI to better serve members.• Contributes to the development of protocols, procedures, patient education, and training, as assigned. Participates in peer review, quality assurance, and other committees' functions.• Demonstrates ability to make quick decisions, based on sound base of critical thinking skills/guidelines by protocols.• Demonstrate ability to interact with a variety of levels of staff to provide good customer service to internal customers.• Performs other related duties as directed.

I successful meet each student learning outcome which included creating a safe and effective care environment, promoting health and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, physiological integrity while practicing the professional role standards of a nurse. The units I rotated in include, Medical Surgical I, Medical Surgical/ Telemetry Unit, Step Down, Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Labor and Delivery, Mother Infant Care Center, Nursery, and Acute Inpatient/Emergency Psychiatric Services. In addition to all the knowledge I gained through this great nursing program, I developed strong communication skills as a peer-led team learning workshop leader. In my third semester of nursing school I guided and mentored first semester students through clinical scenarios to help increase and solidify their knowledge.

Easter Seals is a nonprofit charitable organization that assists more than one million children and adults with autism and other disabilities and special needs.

I work in various different classroom settings of special education as a teacher assistant. I assist with the children by helping with picking them up from the bus,setting up breakfast and lunch. I put together creative activities that the children can do and help with keeping the classroom clean.

I worked in a classroom helping autistic children. Two children were assigned to each assistant at a time. Assignments rotated throughout the month and were as followed; escorting children from the bus to the class room. Following the strict icon matching lessons, this directly helped the children transition from different activities throughout the day.

Answering and assisting calls, including taking, receiving, and delivering merchandise. Also data entry of purchases. As a unit leader another responsibility was organizing local meetings and assisting new members with starting there own business.
