As Seen On TV & Footwear - Plan assortment and select products for As Seen On TV & Footwear Categories based on prior sales history, trends in the market and customer preferences.- Analyze profitability, margin and current trends at an assortment level. - Establish and maintain vendor relationships to increase flexibility and negotiations.- Partner with QC to ensure all regulations are being met and quality products are bring shipped to our customers.

Apparel, Accessories & Footwear Responsible for assisting the Buyer & Associate Buyer in making decisions for Women's Apparel, Sleepwear, outerwear, Intimates and Shoes for two nationwide catalogs (Dr. Leonard's Healthcare & Carol Wright Gifts). - Assist in building assortment plans for each catalog mailing; new and repeat item count, initial mark-up, average retail price, promotional strategy.- Identify, research, develop and evaluate products for adoption consideration.- Provide research of like products on web, compile sales history and color/size selling for new item presentations.- Analyze competition for pricing, category assortments, promotions, etc.- Shop retail locations to look for trends and key items to develop for future deliveries.- Shop Domestic and International market.- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendor base (domestic and international) to maximize sales, gross margins and partnerships. - Responsible for negotiating optimum pricing, MOQ’s and deliveries.- Partner with Purchasing Department on freight estimates, landed costs, etc. - Upon approval of a new item process all necessary paperwork- Analyze price points and color sale trends.- Work closely with Director of Sourcing to re-source current items and develop new items.-Manage all incoming and outgoing samples in partnership with QC Department.- Create and manage New Item List and Fit Report for Tech Design Department on seasonal basis.- Keep in touch with Domestic and International vendors regarding the following: fit samples, photo samples, PP samples and TOP samples. - Review quality issues that have been identified with the Quality Assurance Manager. Assure that a timely resolution is achieved.- Interface with Quality Control on compliance of all new products. Partner to aid in resolution on QC issues.

Assist with backend of website including but not limited to; uploading swatches,uploading new designs, completing markdowns and maintaining inventories.- Assist with special events including Steals & Deals on the Today Show- Help buyer with placing purchase orders for different locations in RLM- Prepare bags for messengers for several media outlets such as Vogue, MSNBC, InStyle- Assist with sample sale­ set up, selling, pricing & clean up- Trade show experience
