At present, I am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. In 2021, I graduated with a First Class honours from a BSc Biomedical Sciences degree at the University of Westminster. Alongside my studies, I have 2 occupations. Firstly, I work as a Bank Healthcare Assistant within the West London NHS Trust, which specialises in mental health. Secondly, I work as a Healthcare Assistant in a local nursing home in Oxford, which has both acute nursing and dementia units. Both of these job roles have allowed me to achieve my care competencies, as well as learn skills that are important in a clinical environment. My previous job role was in retail, working as a sales advisor and this helped me to be able to work at a high standard, in a fast pace environment and in a team.
