I am a serial entreprenuer. I currently own Happy Nest laundry service and Lavanderia Gigante Washateria. Happy Nest is a wash and fold, pick up, and delivery service for customers inside the 610 loop. Lavanderia Gigante is a 7,000-square-foot full-service laundromat on Harrisburg Blvd. in Eado.Thompson+ Hanson has been my part-time job for the past year, and it has been a great learning experience and an excellent environment. Thompson + Hanson is a retail store and nursery connected to Tiny's Restaurant. The synergy between the three businesses feels vibrant and fun.My children's concept, Sweet and Sassy, involved birthday parties, hair salons, and retail for children. A stretch pink limousine was added to complete the "birthday girl" experience. Sweet and Sassy in Sugarland Towne Square had 3,500 square feet of pure party fun.Teaching ballet has been my favorite business and the most rewarding. I spent over 10 years teaching 2-6-year-old girls and boys ballet lessons at St. John the Divine, Houston, Texas.After college, I had three fabulous sales positions, which prepared me well for my future small business endeavors.
