Challenge and Change is my mantra; you will find me at my best in a fast-paced, growth environment with complex problems to solve. I am particularly effective in designing and implementing strategically aligned solutions that focus to long term efficiency, scalability and sustainability. I am energized when involved in Mergers & Acquisitions participating in and leading M&A activity from target identification through LOI, due diligence, modeling, financing, closing and implementation for deals ranging from $1MM to $400MM. Pointing out risks amid “deal fever” is tricky; I am as proud of closed transactions as ones that were strategically abandoned along the way. I have a wealth of experience in Finance and Risk Management but expand my horizons in my quest for organizational alignment and process efficiency. This continual quest for holistic knowledge has seen me bring value to strategic development and implementation, afforded the opportunity to develop into a subject matter expert on derivatives as well as being “tapped” for special projects spanning into operational effectiveness and change management. Effective communication is an essential part of leadership. My skill set here ranges from interaction with entry level staff through servicing the members of the Board of Directors of a public company. With boards, banks, regulators and other 3rd party providers, I count on my strong base knowledge of governance and compliance to understand needs and appropriately service. My leadership skills highly lever collaboration and teamwork for optimal performance. This requires trust; trust that alternatives can be voiced and heard, trust that team members will perform, and trust that when they cannot a hand is raised for help. This style has allowed me to be successful in levering time and expertise throughout the organization using aligned goals and collaboration to achieve mutual purpose.
