Hearth Property Sourcing
As one of 2 Directors at Hearth Property Sourcing, I support investors to build their property investment portfolios in Central Scotland. We are a husband and wife duo connected to a network of Scotland's top property professionals and we pride ourselves on our due diligence when it comes to selecting properties which meet your criteria. We also project management the whole process for you, utilising our own power team of tradesmen, financial advisers and legal professionals, and overseeing the management of refurbishments, conveyancing processes, letting agency set up, etc.
Disability Adviser
Since 2017 I have been working within the larger Student Support department at Glasgow School of Art, providing support to disabled students. I meet with students upon registration with our service to complete disability needs assessments, where I discuss with the student their individual circumstances and needs. I then implement the appropriate support for the student, such as creation of their Reasonable Adjustment Report which communicates their support needs to their academic department. I also support students through the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) process to help them gain access to funds for disability-specific supports to enable them to thrive through their Higher Education experience. Further, I liaise with and refer to my colleagues with other relevant expertise to ensure students are supported in all ways required.
