Tenacious and mission-driven leader with expertise in advancing community development programs with high quality returns. I apply creativity and analytical skills to design and manage effective systems and processes for addressing complex social issues. I’ve demonstrated a solid track record of forming and nurturing collaborations across diverse sectors, populations and settings. As an AmeriCorp Alum and once Kindergarten Teacher, I am always in pursuit of "making things better", whether it be the fight against poverty or a quarrel on the playground. My background in sociology creates this unique perspective that allows me to assess each situation with compassion and understanding. I am able to analyze both sides of an issue and develop a solution that is beneficial for everyone involved. I enjoy listening to the needs of the community, from residents to merchants, and working together to create and implement a solution. Community advocacy and providing communities with tools to restore humanity is my true calling. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve gained expertise in program management, community engagement, fundraising development, partnership building, contract administration, social media marketing, multi-cultural communication, and event planning.
