Responsible for maintaining and enhancing AAA’s reputation as the most trusted and vocal advocate on issues affecting motorists and other travelers. Oversee community affairs, media relations, traffic safety advocacy and corporate citizenship efforts for the Auto Club Group’s operations in Tennessee.

During my tenure with AAA, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects to solidify my knowledge, skills and abilities. I can apply broad concepts and theories to a wide range of industries and successfully implement strategic communication campaigns.I have planned and executed community and branch office events that drew crowds of 50 to 250 people and AAA’s participation in larger events reaching 2,500 or more people. In the past, I edited and wrote content for AAA’s member publication Going Places with a circulation of 150,000. During the launch and adoption of a new Member Relationship Management system, I led thecommunications team through a successful employee relations campaign.I also have experience with creating and implementing digital marketing plans for business units.

Assisted with proofing the employee newsletter and other publications; production of commercials and internal promotional items.

Assisted in planning the fall media tour for the Smoky Mountain Convention and Visitor’s Bureau; updated and wrote additional materials for the media kit, used by national travel journalists.
