- Experience administering and advising teams on requirements for co-production and financing opportunities for television, music and digital projects (Telefilm, CMF, OMDC/Ontario Creates (OMF, IDM), Bell Fund, Shaw Rocket Fund, Rogers Cable Network Fund);- Negotiating and drafting production related agreements, for scripted, unscripted, digital and animation, both union and non-union;- Negotiating and drafting music agreements for productions (licenses, composers, performers, music supervisors), and interfacing with composers and music supervisors regularly;- Managing music digital exploitation and royalty collection matters;- Providing support on general corporate matters, diligence and acquisitions for the SVP of business and legal affairs;- Assessing and advising on insurance needs for productions and distribution; - Interfacing on a day-to-day basis with various internal groups and production personnel on the legal issues for television, including union and guild matters, clearances, credits, and insurance requirements;- Completing general tasks for the production legal team, including creation and maintenance of agreement templates.
