If I had to describe myself, I'd use the words "creative thinker" and "vivid dreamer." I'm most proud of the passion I have for visual storytelling and creative problem solving. It fuels my approach to conceptualizing and producing unique, effective & memorable design solutions.With degrees in Graphic Communication and Media Design and a background in Graphic Design, Marketing and Branding, I've earned a variety of titles - most recently as Director of Marketing for a hospitality management company. Prior to accepting my current position, I thrived in the roles of Graphic Design Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Senior Marketing Associate, Director of Brand Management, Lead Design Strategist and most recently as Creative Director, while honing my expertise in brand development, content creation, multi-platform campaign delivery, design strategy and production workflow for clients in a variety of industries including hospitality, financial services, pharmaceutical, non-profit, lifestyle, aerospace, leisure and government. I also spent several years working as a freelance graphic designer. I'm also very passionate about my community and helping others become their best self. I'm an avid volunteer for various local organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of the Emerald Coast, United Way of Escambia County, my church, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church as a VBS, Sunday School & Bible Study Teacher and Lakeview Center as a board member.In 2012, I was appointed by Pensacola Mayor, Ashton Hayward to serve on the Mayor's Urban Redevelopment Advisory Committee. This seven member committee established by the mayor to help guide the continued growth and development of Pensacola's downtown. This was an eye-opening opportunity to understand more about my local government and to be a voice for young professionals who want to feel included in the process of creating a downtown experience that everyone would enjoy.
