We provide the front line of defense for America and its allies As a missile operations Captain I was in charge of directly overseeing the operations, maintenance, security, testing, contracts and day-to-day procedures of up to 50 intercontinental ballistic missiles. While in this role I was immediately accountable to the President of the United States and Secretary of Defense. As a group scheduler I organized, and managed the alert, training, medical appointments and testing schedules for over 300+ personnel and top leadership. Ensured that all personnel met training and operational requirements before going on alert. In charge of executing the daily missile alert duty order (written authorization) allowing 30 crew members to go on alert and be able to sign for their missiles.
