Responsible for the development, management and coordination of disaster services training and field operations across 48 New York Counties. I work with Officers, volunteers and staff to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with Salvation Army units of operation as well as public and private agencies that provide disaster relief. Also, I develop and maintain a disaster training calendar to include training from both basic to advanced courses. Additionally, I foster relationships with regional, state, and local government and non government agencies and planning groups for coordinating efforts, as well as businesses and corporations for in kind donations during time of disaster. I am also responsible for coordination and maintaining an active seat at the NY State bunker in times of emergency as well as the training of two Empire ICS teams. In addition, I am responsible for the fleet of EDS vehicles across the Division, as well as working with Divisional Development staff to secure operational grants and legacies to support ongoing EDS operations.

Point of contact for over 50 offices supporting office managers and staff by resolving issues such as: technical support, patient and insurance billing, refunds, satisfaction ratings, and patient complaints

Regional PlannerProject manager for two multi-million dollar investment areas of the Department of Homeland Security’s Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant. Manage investment projects and research resulting in cost savings that were reallocated to provide further funding in other areas. Maintain strong working relationships with regional and City stakeholders.

Deployed as Situation Unit Lead and/or Liaison for federally declared disasters in multiple states. Maintained situational awareness of disaster region and Joint Field Office operations to report to executive level management and disaster operations employees as a whole. Tasked with aiding two New England states complete their GAP Analysis which was a program meant to identify shortfalls that exist with state resources and the actual response and short-term recovery capabilities maintained at all levels of government with nongovernmental organizations and the private sector.
