- Successfully advocated for the institutional adoption of public-private partnerships as an innovative way of supporting the U.S. government's efforts to understand, inform, engage and influence foreign audiences; collaborated with the Under Secretary and senior leadership in the private sector and government to support the design and establishment of unprecedented partnerships; during transition in Presidential Administration, strategized ways to utilize partnerships within the incoming Under Secretary's office; developed and maintained a network of national and international contacts - Researched and made recommendations on grant applications; effectively coordinated implementation of Department-funded programs; evaluated effectiveness and impact of programs in coordination with the Office's Evaluation and Measurement Unit - Led State Department-wide efforts to expand youth centers and improve the local economy in a Middle East conflict area in support of a partnership created by the Secretary of State to promote the peaceful resolution of regional hostilities - Effectively created and wrote curriculum for inaugural training session on partnership-building for the Department's Foreign Service Institute; developed, wrote and edited office materials including newsletters, press releases, fact sheets, speeches, website content and official correspondence, on deadline
