An experienced commercial director and people manager with a broad range of buying, marketing and project management experience across the retail, consumer goods, importing/wholesale and IT industries. Now running, a successful British based family business, Floralsilk, together with my husband, Liam O'Flaherty. I lead the Marketing, IT, HR and Finance functions.Our mission is to bring beauty to people's lives with our range of stunning faux flowers & plants, seasonal decorations (mainly Christmas!) and decorative accessories. We started life supplying businesses, such as retailers, wholesalers, landscapers, film companies, interior designers, visual merchandisers and event companies. Recently, we have launched Floralsilk's direct-to-consumer e-commerce business which is cementing our brand as the go to faux flower and Christmas decorations brand in the UK market.Floralsilk is based in Bourne, Lincolnshire where we work as a collaborative team from our stunning 6,000 sq. ft. trade showroom, head office and warehouse.
