About Stephanie Ottenwess

I am the Managing Partner of Ottenwess Law - a medical malpractice defense and healthcare transactions law firm. Because of its trial experience in high stakes matters, the firm is also retained in other significant, complex litigation, arbitration, and negotiations, including termination of executive employment agreements and related matters.In my health law practice, I provide counsel to clients in transactional matters and compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, including federal Stark and state self-referral laws, federal and state anti-kickback laws, HIPAA and state privacy laws. I have a special interest in telemedicine and have counseled health care providers in providing and billing for telemedicine and teleradiology services.I have also represented executives and physicians in employment contract negotiations and related matters. Recently, my Partners and I successfully represented a senior executive in an employment arbitration against a billion dollar corporation.
