Stephanie Pacheco (she/her) is Executive Director of The Yard, a creation and performance platform for artists on Martha’s Vineyard, offering performances, artist residencies, and community education for youth and adults. Stephanie was most recently Executive Director of Links Hall, a multi-arts incubator and theater in Chicago, where she oversaw artistic and strategic planning, operations, fundraising, and financial management.A producer with two decades of experience in performing arts presenting and community engagement, Stephanie led outreach programming, academic engagement, and arts education at the Hopkins Center for the Arts, Dartmouth College from 2010-2019. There, she produced over 275 events annually through international artist residencies, public programs, institutional partnerships, and arts integration for elementary through college-aged learners. She was Manager of the BRICstudio theater in Brooklyn NY from 2006-2009, launching the BRIClab artist-in-residence program; championing the development of new work in dance, music, and theater; and advancing partnerships with venerated arts organizations such as Danspace Project, 651 Arts, and Dance Theater Workshop (now NY Live Arts).As a freelance production, project, and stage manager, she helmed shows at venues such as Joe's Pub/Public Theater, Lincoln Center, Classic Stage Company, Auditorium du Louvre-Paris, the Capital Jazz Festival Charter Cruise with JAG Productions, and the Celebrate Brooklyn! summer festival.Stephanie has consulted for nonprofit organizations and independent artists on topics of capacity building, fundraising, community engagement, and programming. She is a member of the National Performance Network's Partner Advisory Council, and participated in the inaugural First Nations Performing Arts "Decolonization Track," an Indigenous-led training program for national arts leaders seeking to deepen decolonization practice, rigor, and peer learning. Stephanie served five years on the executive board of New England Presenters; was a conference presenter for the Association of Performing Arts Professionals and Major University Presenters; and has served as a grant panelist and academic program reviewer for the National Endowment for the Arts, New England Foundation for the Arts, and School of the Art Institute of Chicago.Stephanie holds a BA in Dramatic Literature & Theater History from New York University. She was a 2010 Executive Management Fellow at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and a 2002 Fellow at the Auschwitz Jewish Center in Poland.
