Stephanie Pankiewicz is a landscape architect and a Partner at LandDesign, a multidisciplinary firm providing urban design, land planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture and branding services. As creative design leader, Stephanie directs many of the firm’s large scale master planning projects, including long-range master planning to urban design solutions for some of the nation’s leading developers. Her experience includes urban design, park planning and design, community master plans, site planning, design guidelines and streetscapes, with an emphasis on utilizing green techniques as storm water harvesting, roof gardens, stream restoration, native plants and natural treatment systems for bio-retention. She is based out of Alexandria VA and works throughout the DC Metro area. Stephanie received her bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia and has membership in the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Urban Land Institute. She recently completed the ULI Washington Regional Land Use Leadership Institute. Past service includes the City of Asheville Downtown Master Plan Advisory Committee and the city's I-26 Technical Review Committee, the Asheville Design Center Advisory Council and a 3-year term on the city’s Greenway Commission.Registered Landscape Architect: California, Georgia, N.
