Leads S&OP data, analytics and executes S&OP meetings. Responsible for the overall planning and purchasing operations. Supervises personnel in the planning & purchasing department. Assists in the areas of Strategic Purchasing, Global Sourcing, and operational duties within the various Purchasing departments throughout the corporation. Provides support and direction to Forecast Analyst, Merchants and Sales in the procurement of goods and services from suppliers. Approves payment of goods. Assist Accounts Payable/Logistics with invoice, purchase order, and shipment discrepancies. Receives orders and grants approval for purchases of goods or services. Manages work delegation, coaching, problem resolution, motivation, and commendation. Oversees and ensures that planning & purchasing transactions in all organizational unit complies with the existing purchasing rules and policies of the company and the government. Participates in the formulation, execution, and observance of the company's planning & purchasing policies and goals, both short-term and long-term. Manages and monitors supply chain inventory levels and replenishments, including inventory investment, targets and customer service levels. Communicates with demand planners / master schedulers to translate forecasts into supply requirements. Leads efforts and build tools and processes that involve performing complex or involved analysis in situations where independent data gathering, requirements definition, selection of analytical methodologies, and/or data presentation is required. Effectively reports results to business stakeholders through verbal, written, or formal presentations, such as the S & OP process. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Leads and directs the work of others with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. I rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
