About Stephanie Small

I have created and/or been a part of many diverse initiatives while at my first Agency (GayWT, Black Women’s Association (BWA), Black Advertising Professionals (BAP)) before creating the private group People of Colour in (Canadian) Advertising & Marketing/POCA here on LinkedIn. The group has amassed a membership of over 2,000 members and from those members, a Steering Committee was formed to create an industry organization POCAM. I am also the Founder & former Director of Black TAXI out of the TAXI Toronto office. Black TAXI is a creative & strategic division that will continue with the program mission to attract, hire, and retain Black talent, to lead change. In addition to offering advertising and consulting services to existing, new and pro-bono clients. My focus was on Black businesses, so they know where to turn for advertising services. My passion clearly lies in taking steps to effectively make changes in creating diverse, inclusive, and equitable workspaces in the Advertising industry now and for years to come.Feel free to reach out if you ever need any career guidance, advice on how to be an ally or connect regarding an event focused on diversity, equity & inclusion; we can get it done together.
