Experienced Finance Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the investment management industry. Stephanie Renauld is a bilingual Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a MBA designation and recognized as a manager with integrity, rigour, energy and a comprehensive understanding of the issues. She has accumulated close to 20 years of experience in finance. Ms. Renauld’s management style places equal emphasis on results and team spirit. She is currently Operating Partner in Private Equity at the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ), where she optimizes value creation by supporting and advising investment teams, as well as the management teams of portfolio companies. She participates, in particular, in several boards of directors and committees (FLO, Groupe M3, BPA, Averna, etc.). Ms. Renauld has experience managing the overall finance and information technology function: budgeting and financial analysis, accounting, control, treasury, strategic planning, project management and implementation, and operational management. She developed this experience in a variety of industries and sectors. She is recognized for her ability to adapt, her diplomacy in complex situations, and her leadership skills.Past experience involving responsibility for managing CDPQ’s international offices (currency, audit and tax) and the institution’s overall budget has provided her with a strong understanding of business culture both in Quebec and abroad, in addition to extensive knowledge of the public sector. In terms of involvement in the community, she has acquired know-how working with non-profit organizations and foundations, including in governance, philanthropy and mentoring. She is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Fondation la rue des Femmes.
