As Project Manager for the Marketing Department I plan projects, build timelines based on KPI data, and oversee the workflow for a team of 25 people. I communicate priorities and project progress across the company from our Chiefs to our Freelancers. I monitor progress, and offer help when hurdles arise.I work on projects that live within one sub-team, and projects that span into our parent company Ferguson.I do everything I can to set our people and our projects up for success, and I love watching our Associates shine.

As a Senior Photographer I assigned photography projects and reported on workflow timing for our team of photographers and stylists, making sure to align our resources and priorities to meet the deadlines provided by Leadership.I collected data and built KPIs that fairly represented expanding expectation on our Photographers, allowing us to accurately predict timelines and provide documentation showing when we would need to expand the team to keep up with growing workloads.

As a Product Photographer I helped update the Signature Hardware brand by creating elevated and consistent product imagery while exceeding KPI goals. I collaborated with the Art Director to establish and document shot lists for every product, and compiled into our Photography Style Guide. This visual reference complete with lighting examples is still in use today.

SFP specializes in commercial, corporate and architectural photography, and creates images that businesses use in marketing and advertising, public relations, sales proposals, as well as many in-house uses.

As VP of AIGA Hampton Roads I planned and executed our annual social/networking event and provided support for the other events the organization put on. I also acted as member outreach, engaging our current and prospective members at AIGA events and following up with them after events.

As a photography instructor at TCC I worked with students at many different skill levels on the technical aspects of their cameras, the art of photography, as well as Photoshop and the Mac interface in a way that to motivated students to learn and produce increasingly sophisticated work. I was also responsible for planning out the semester to be sure there was ample time to cover the necessary assignments, and collected/graded portfolios in a timely manner.

As the photo lab manager at TCC I was responsible for answering students technical questions during open lab on their camera equipment, tcc's photo and lighting equipment available for check out, as well as the iMacs and Photoshop in TCC's computer lab.I interviewed and oversaw the student workers, arranging their schedules and list of duties to best fit their skill sets and TCC's needs.I developed a system to maintain and update the computers and printers as well as track all check out equipment and hold students accountable for the equipment in their possession.I was also responsible for assisting the other photography instructors by helping to answer their students technical questions, copying and organizing any support material, and preparing classrooms for use.
