As an Individual Support Coordinator (ISC) I advocate for participants of our adult day services; my goal is to provide the best support in order to assist each individual in reaching their goals. I work with participants and their support team to determine their individual needs and goals, and then establish appropriate programs and activities to utilize in order to reach those goals.

• Managed teaching teams in educating elementary, middle, and high school students to produce their own creative work using film, photography, and digital arts• Designed workshops and classes to teach stop-motion and digital animation, sci-fi filmmaking, Minecraft, and other forms of media• Pioneered animation workshops using state-of-the-art software Adobe Character Animator, tailoring the program to several different ages, and then training other educators in using the program to create their own workshops

• Assisted in planning creative workshops and in developing examples to facilitate learning for children, students, and families• Researched artists in our collection and then developed family programming information for museum guides and activities for visitors, including an interactive iPad tour to lead guests through a special exhibit, based on the research• Guided student groups on detailed tours throughout the sculpture park to foster connections between visitors and the artwork

• Worked with adults with various developmental disabilities to create art in visual, musical, and written forms• Supported studio instructors in managing the classroom and worked one-on-one with students to help foster their independent artistic skills• Maintained the studio space, organized the students’ work spaces, as well as prepared and set up work for presentations in the gallery

In my position I developed and ran the hands-on Studio Thinking Workshops. As Outreach Coordinator, I organized partnerships with library branches and community arts organizations to create family art-making workshops. I also managed material resources, inventory and restocked supplies, and implemented a more efficient organizational system.

During my internship I assisted with creative workshops by preparing supplies and program spaces, creating samples to be used, as well as contributing ideas for the workshop plan. I facilitated birthday parties by maintaining and updating supplies, along with assisting the birthday event. I managed material resources and helped begin a new organizational system.

During the rebranding process, I worked collaboratively updating company materials, as well as designing marketing collateral in the form of a poster series for the Information Technology Department.

I maintained the classroom facilities and oversaw the faculty’s inventory of the Fine Arts building.
