I love helping adults in education and business be the best that they can be. I focus on three things:- Competency collection, awareness, and improvement planning- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and cultural competency- Creating excitement for learning, creating a culture that thrives on growthAdults need a lot of the same things that children need - learning needs to be exciting, engaging, and immediately applicable. I excel at planning engaging learning moments that give people opportunities to do hands-on activities. My 25 years in early elementary classrooms and coaching teachers has guided me to become an expert on using communication skills to present a variety of ideas in understandable ways to different audiences. I use my leadership skills to inspire others and my creative skills to make learning enjoyable and understandable. I am able to disseminate and communicate information easily. I use organizational skills to plan and execute job expectations. My passion has been teaching young children. I strive to give them an exciting start to their school careers. I excel at planning engaging learning moments that give people opportunities to do hands-on activities. My goal is to help each child learn and grow academically and socially while fostering a welcoming classroom community. I want my students to believe school is a wonderful place.
