Responsibilities included small mammal trapping and handling, submandibular venipuncture and orbital sinus blood draws, PIT tagging and ear tagging. Supported other field technicians and scientists with sub-meter accuracy plot establishment; plant species identification and growth form monitoring for plant phenology; net primary productivity measurements; soil core extraction and pH measurements; ground beetle, mosquito, and tick collection and sorting.
