Stephanie Sellars is a filmmaker, writer, and actress / singer based in New York City and the Hudson Valley. Her debut feature film Lust Life Love premiered virtually at Berlin Independent Film Festival where it won Best Romance Feature and was digitally released by 1091 Pictures in 2021, available to watch on Apple TV, Amazon, iTunes, Google Play and more. She released her debut jazz vocal album Girl Who Loves in 2020 - available on Spotify, iTunes and other music platforms. Other festivals and performance venues include: Outfest, Frameline, FilmOut San Diego, Queens World Film Festival, New Renaissance Film Festival, Harlem International Film Festival, DC Shorts, Mexico International Film Festival, Cinekink, NonStop Festival (Norway), The Duplex, Laurie Beechman Theatre, National Arts Club and R'Ville Stage Creations. Her writing has been published in Entropy, New York Press, Moviemaker and Go Magazine. She was awarded artist residencies at Yaddo and Vermont Studio Center, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Gettysburg College and has a MFA in Film from Columbia University School of the Arts.
