  • Omnes
    Assistant Designer
    Omnes Jun 2023 - Jan 2024
    United Kingdom
During my time at OMNES, my responsibilities included:- Researching seasonal themes and design detail inspiration, operating within a small creative team, in a fast paced studio environment.- Designing playful and timeless pieces (casualwear, occasionwear, knitwear, denimwear and beachwear) that fit the brand ethic, in the form of printed/coloured CAD's, to then send off tech packs with measurements to factories for collection launches.- Range building for both AW23 & SS24. I would create a Range Plan on PowerPoint to organise new designs (with style names and codes) into collections, for each month, and updating it on a regular basis, before presenting this to the founder so he was able to see underneath which style is going to which supplier and what sustainable fabric/colour/print it will be in. This made it easy for the founder to tick which ones he wanted to place an order on.- Participating in fitting sessions including writing alteration notes to be sent to suppliers for the next fit stage/production and then measuring garment samples on the flat to update spec sheets.- Emailing and setting up Microsoft Team meetings with suppliers to chase any Lab Dips I sent out, any swatches I have asked them to source/send to us, making sure to prioritise natural, recycled and deadstock materials, and to overall get updates on any styles we have in work with them. • Asos.Com
    Assistant Designer
    Asos.Com May 2022 - Aug 2022
    London, England, United Kingdom
In this role I designed commercial high street womenswear products such as softs, dresses, tops, skirts, jumpsuits for ASOS through MUSE London. Creating sketches, CADS, Design Sheets/Annotated Tech Packs to be sent over to the factory. This included liaising with them in choosing buttons, trims or fabric qualities.I conducted research, react to sales information and keep up-to-date with the latest/seasonal trends in order to identify key shapes for the season, Pantone colours and fabrics. This helped me build a fresh range to the table, offering choice for the ASOS global customer base.I also created embroidery artworks and digital prints by continuing a pattern from a small vintage swatch, and modernising it. I’m able to merge various prints into one and create new ones from scratch. Moreover, I provided administrative support to the senior designers in order to meet deadlines, participated in all relevant meetings with design, product development, buying and business updates. This involved receiving tasks like developing CAD’s or Prints for other brands such as Reclaimed Vintage but I mainly worked for the ASOS Design department. I worked closely with the ASOS buying team by fulfilling their costing and creative requests and sending them garment samples, in order to create a great end product ready for it to be manufactured in bulk. I also helped create trackers on an excel spreadsheet so we can keep track of what garments we are yet to receive and what has been sent out to the buyers, this way nothing gets lost and everything remains organised.

I would create professional emails to be sent out to anyone that needed more information or those that agreed to collaborate with us.Moreover, I added products that customers were able to purchase by setting up their Instagram Shop and connecting their Instagram page to Shopify. We faced a few issues in the process but I managed to find solutions for all of them. I had attended meetings every now and then with the founders in their studio to discuss fresh new ideas and how we would be able to take them forward. IG: @entwineuk🌐 www.entwineuk.com
