Contract position for a retail franchisee and wholesale distributor with operations in NC, GA and FL.• Analyze current business operations, providing solutions for distribution and inventory processes improvements. Devising and managing the implementation of procedures for purchasing and marketing departments to avoid additional delays in product availability on website and with delays in pre-marketing to wholesale customer base. • Develop marketing campaigns including targeting retail and wholesale customers utilizing digital marketing partners, increasing brand awareness through participation in community events. Launch a street team, overseeing wholesale website re-design, re-directing retail social media campaign to better align with franchise brand.• Create and implement a ‘new customer acquisition’ survey through existing POS software.• Design consumer product sampling fixtures for placement in retail partner locations. • Perform human resource responsibilities including employee strengths’ analysis against company needs, providing guidance for improving performance and increasing company morale.

National franchise retailer and distributor of consumer products in the swiftly emerging and disruptive vaping industry• Created and developed the KURE brand including trademarked name and logo design, unique retail concept, retail design and product packaging. Cultivated innovative branding and customer experience, culminating in a $9M private equity capital raise. • Launched brand into a multi-channel product line and innovative retail concept. Instrumental in the buildout and opening of 6 locations in 8 months. Expansion into a franchise division, selling 34 locations within 6 months.• Developed and oversaw global marketing plan and $500K annual marketing budget for branded and non-branded products and retail locations. Managed marketing team and led creative marketing decisions and brand advertising. Conceptualized advertising copy and design for website, social media, print, radio and digital campaigns. Additionally, edited press releases and blog content. • Determined and managed industry event participation, including various trade shows and marketing events. Conceptualized and executed the brand’s “street team” events. This included the design and implementation of a complex new pay by scan distribution system in 450+ retail outlets throughout 7 states.• Oversaw licensing and registration compliance with state and federal agencies, most notably obtaining a DEA license during the agency’s stringent nationwide, de-licensing campaign. • Directed analysis and management of all company finances, conceiving multi-level customized reporting requirements leading to improved analysis of sales, inventory movement, and special product tax liabilities. Successfully managed two state level tax audits.• Re-developed and successfully implemented all in house operation procedures including inventory control, warehouse management and product delivery.• Sourced, implemented and managed new ERP software and integrated route accounting software and hardware.
