Legal Analyst
CurrentAs a Legal Analyst and Board Meeting Specialist, I am responsible for preparing and distributing meeting materials for the US Templeton Funds Board and the Joint Board meetings consisting of the US Franklin Funds, US Templeton Funds, and the US New Jersey / Alternative Strategies Funds' common agenda items. I work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders, including company staff, management, outside counsel, and service providers, to collect, review, and compile reports into electronic formats. I use the Diligent Boards portal platform to create and maintain electronic materials. Acting as the Diligent Boards Administrator, I am responsible for requesting new user accounts, communicating directly with users to provide technical support and training to the team, management and board members. I ensure that the materials are designed and distributed according to the permissions and preferences of the recipients. As the team's technology expert, I keep myself updated on the latest technology trends and innovations, and lead the charge to bring new ideas to the team to improve the efficiency and quality of the work. Key Responsibilities• Created and maintain 2 complex tracking files for regular and special board agenda items and follow-ups. • Establish and maintain a process for the Board meeting cycles, including detailed instructions to cross-train team members• Co-Lead the US board team’s standups 2 times a week, and keep track of timelines and progress of the projects• Provide on-site support for the board meetings, and assist with any technical or logistical issues• Draft and review agendas, minutes, and memos for the board meetings.• Distribute and recordkeep service provider contracts for the US Templeton Funds• Prepare Power of Attorneys, Written Consents, Secretary and Officer Certificates, and Contract Amendments• Provide support as needed to attorneys in the legal departments of Fort Lauderdale, New York and San Mateo
