As the Children and Family Minister for 120 children, I train and schedule 50 regular volunteers to teach and lead family events such as Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School, Pageants, and community wide events. Plan service projects for children and their families in collaboration with McKinney non-profits like Shiloh Pace, Collin County Meals on Wheels and local fire stations. Develop and write curriculum for faith formation. Provide parent education opportunities. Oversee nursery staff and the Associate Minister for Children’s Programming. Implemented child abuse prevention training.

Reporting to the VP of Programs and Operations, developed and coordinates the Accountable Inspirational Motivational (AIM) program, sponsored by a grant from the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and area foundations. Directs 400 low-to-moderate income consumers in Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, and Southern Denton counties per year in counseling, coaching and education in order to qualify for an IDA matched savings account wherein CCCS matches $25 in savings, dollar for dollar, over the 12-month period.• Markets the program externally and enrolls clients, develops community relationships throughout the targeted counties and specifically in the Lake Highlands neighborhood (leading the United Way Lake Highlands Financial Stability Initiative) to build recognition for the program and for CCCS, and educational/counseling opportunities in the community.• Responsible for recruiting and scheduling training for AIM coaches who are either CCCS employees or volunteers. Manages the AIM coaching volunteer database and provides updated communication to keep them engaged and informed.• Coordinates program assessment, and prepares summary reports for partners indicating program statistics and recommendations
