Responsible for the lobby and advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in foreign and development cooperation policy & budget of the Netherlands, and at EU level. Achievements included: • Conducted policy analysis and budget tracking for key moments in the political year, which included the annual budget, spring and fall memoranda and various political debates. This served as input for my advocacy briefs to various political stakeholders. • Successfully set the agenda for SRHR at ample occasions by organizing events, workshops & briefings for Members of Parliament , Ministry of Foreign Affairs and civil society and developed a strong networking connection with relevant stakeholders. • Actively contributed to joint advocacy in various national (SRHR platform, WO=MEN) and international networks (Countdown2030Europe), often prepared to take a lead role in various initiatives. For Countdown2030Europe I conducted the major annual donor tracking exercise for the Netherlands. • Developed strategies, work- and project plans, contributed to resource mobilization and periodically reported to grant holders like Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and UNFPA. Served as project lead on the yearly launch of the UNFPA State of the World Population Report.

Responsible for the coordination of the international lobby and advocacy program for sexual rights and meaningful youth participation. Achievements included: • Developed international advocacy strategies and supported the capacity building of young people for advocacy in various United Nations processes including the 2030 Agenda (SDGs), Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) and the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) • Drafted various position papers, conducted policy analysis & background research and provided language input on national and international policies • Co-organized side-events and panel discussions in cooperation with civil society and government delegations at the CPD and the United Nations General Assembly , New York • Developed and implemented the Youth Ambassador SRHR concept with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and provided mentorship and capacity building to the Youth Ambassador on a daily basis• Contributed to and proofread the successful major grant applications to the Strategic Partnership fund and the SRHR Partnership Fund of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Responsible for the selection, evaluation and monitoring of over 130 EU granted youth participation, citizenship and democracy projects in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia. Achievements included: • Evaluated the quality of project applications in cooperation with an expert database that was consulted for every selection round • Detected several cases of fraudulent applications and misuse of funds• Maintained contact with civil society and beneficiaries about the areas of attention in the field – this included project support for organizations under pressure
