I appreciate craft, comfort, simplicity and seamless functionality in all things. With experience in furniture, lighting and product design, I am excited by the challenge of bringing objects together in cohesive and thoughtful spaces. A result of my industrial design training, my process revolves around an analysis of function, often leading to simple solutions based on the inherent strengths of a material or composition. My interest in interior design comes from a desire to enhance the places that bring people together. I was born and raised in San Francisco and spent four years back East studying Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design. I have served as graphic intern to Kit Hinrichs in San Francisco and participated in a RISD studio sponsored by Samsung Electronics. I developed the package and identity for a start-up in Boston and spent a design-intensive summer studying furniture in Copenhagen. I worked closely with O&G Studio in Warren, RI preparing for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2015 and have ended up back home in the Bay Area working with Geremia Design on residential and commercial interior spaces. After a couple years, I plan to travel the world and let my interests guide what happens next.
